Massage
Massage delivers a fresh supply of oxygen to your muscles, eliminating toxin build up, which then relieves aches and pains. Massage improves lymphatic drainage, helping your natural defence system to work more efficiently, therefore promoting good health.
Sian James MICHT offers a wide range of massage from remedial to relaxing; Reflexology and Indian Head Massage. She also brings to Watson’s Court Health Clinic the gentle massage of Manual Lymphatic Drainage, which speeds up the body’s own defence system, eliminating waste and toxins through the lymphatic system. In the near future she will be offering a number of other services such as Hotstone Massage, Crystal Facial Massage, Reiki classes and other complimentary therapies, including relaxation techniques and meditation groups.
Current treatments:
Remedial Massage
30 minutes of deep tissue massage. This massage helps to repair, smooth and strengthen the muscle fibres, reducing inflammation and removing toxin build up.
Deep Tissue Relaxing Massage

Full Body Massage
90 minutes of lighter massage using pre-blended natural oils, affording maximum relaxation and lymphatic drainage. Float away with warm oils and soft music.
Reflexology
A total body rebalancing, encouraging your body’s own natural healing to occur. Massaging your feet, this is a relaxing massage which will invigorate and detoxify your whole body. Excellent for general aches, pains and strains. Helps with digestion disorders, gynaecological problems, headaches, neck and shoulder problems, and many more.
Indian Head Massage
This ancient treatment is a seated, clothed massage. The head, neck and shoulders are massaged. This massage is helpful for scalp and hair thinning problems, sleep disorders, sinus, head and neck pain. It is effective for reducing muscle stiffness caused by stress. Optimum relaxation.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
This gentle flowing, rhythmic massage can be applied to a wide range of conditions. It has powerful cleansing, relaxing, pain relieving and immunological effects. Manual Lymphatic Drainage techniques facilitate the removal of metabolic wastes, excess water, toxins and bacteria from the tissue via the lymph vessels and glands. It relaxes the sympathetic nervous system, reduces pain and enhances the activity of the immune system. Manual Lymphatic Drainage is the recognised style of massage which helps with the management of lymph oedema (chronic tissue swelling).
It is an ideal treatment for cancer patients, being particularly useful as part of post-mastectomy therapy, to reduce oedema and fibrosis and to relieve pain and tension.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is an excellent therapy for those who suffer from lots of colds and flu, people who lead sedentary lifestyles or who want to reduce oedema, puffiness or swelling. It also has positive effects on, problem skins and cellulite, scar tissue, people with low energy.
It is a gentle massage and feels wonderfully relaxing, due to the slow gentle rhythmic motions involved which stimulate the movement of waste through the lymph vessels and glands. It improves the appearance of the skin and reduces puffiness caused by water retention or poor circulation. People can benefit from lymphatic drainage as part of a detoxification program. This can improve energy, increase cellular oxygenation and nourishment, building immunity.
